The Soyuz
chair accurately reproduces the 3 stages of the Soyuz rocket launch. Reclining
into launch position, you face the sky, put on your headset, and use the
control panel to select your mode; just a single stage, or the full lift off
experience.
This project
was developed in collaboration with the astronaut Jean Pierre Haignere who
lifts off twice with the Soyuz Rocket.

I really like how Ben Hayoun has given the experience which
the majority of people will never have. I would also like to look into creating
a simulation like that.
I also think being able to have the experience in your home
is effective as it’s humorous in a way, as you would never have to leave your
house, having all fun or extreme experiences on your doorstep. As I think this is a good Idea I want to
create something for people to experience while at home.
