I thought to link with the film, I displayed them by hiding them around the room so the audience would have to find the 5 golden tickets.

Golden Ticket
I wanted to recreate the 5 golden tickets from the film. I took an image of the original golden ticket and altered it, having the Cadbury logo instead of Wonka.

Bourneville Postcards
I created an Oompa Loompa print and added it over the collected images I got of Bourneville. These images were influenced by pop art.
After I produced and printed the images I thought they looked as if they could be postcards for Bourneville. Therefore I went onto drawing a postcard template onto the back of the images. I decided to display them in a postcard/ leaflet rack to give them more of a realistic look.
Bourneville Fantasy
After creating these images on Photoshop, I added extra effects using a photography app on my mobile, e.g. The old photo effect and the blur.
Introduction Project
‘A small print on a mailbox becomes something really precious when you remove all the noise around it an isolate it from its setting.’ (Merel Karhof). Explore familiar or alien surroundings by isolating, documenting and displaying anything you think will create a new awareness of the landscape.
I went out and adventured around Bourneville taking images I thought were interesting and that represented the place. The first thing that comes to mind when I think about Bourneville is Cadbury world.
As well as having images to work with I got some information about Bourneville, Finding out it was set up to house the workers of the Cadbury factory.
The 1971 film ‘Charlie and the chocolate factory’ came to mind, I know it is very predictable but I love being swept up in the fantasy. From this thought I wanted to mix the fantasy of the film with the reality of Bourneville.
I chose to use the software Photoshop to produce the final outcomes.
